Friday, March 13
Annie Taylor @ The Echo
Swiss rockers Annie Taylor hit up The Echo to promote their forthcoming studio album Sweet Mortality. Last month, the group released the album’s first single “A Thousand Times.” The album is slated to be released on May 8 via Taxi Gauche.
Lords Of Acid, Aesthetic Perfection @ The Echoplex
Lords of Acid kick off their North American tour in support of Pretty In Kink inside The Echoplex. This tour marks the first time Lords of Acid and Praga Khan have toured together in two decades. Also performing that night are Aesthetic Perfection, who are promoting their latest studio album Into the Black.
Pussy Riot’s North American tour arrives at 1720, and tickets for this gig are running low. The group will be supporting their latest single “Hangerz,” which includes Vic Mensa and Junglepussy. $1 from each ticket sold will go towards a local Planned Parenthood affiliate. The group have been working on the music video for their forthcoming single “Rage,” which was unfortunately raided by the Russian police.

Third Eye Blind, Saves The Day @ The Wiltern
Third Eye Blind will head to The Wiltern in support of their new album Screamer. Released in October on the band’s own Mega Collider Records, the 12-track album peaked at number four on the Independent Albums chart. Joining the band are New Jersey rockers Saves The Day, who are plugging their latest studio album 9.

The Acacia Strain, Rotting Out @ 1720
Metalcore group The Acacia Strain bring their headlining tour to 1720 for a night of intense pit action. The band are supporting their new studio album It Comes in Waves and new EP titled D. Joining them as suppot are Rotting Out, Xibalba, Chamber, and Fuming Mouth.

Bad Rabbits, Devin Morrison @ The Echo
Bad Rabbits arrive to The Echo to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Stick Up Kids. The release became an instant hit with fans and helped secured the band slots on the Vans Warped Tour and Afropunk Festival. Bad Rabbits’ last studio album was 2018’s Mimi. Opening the show are R&B artists Devin Morrison and Nikki Hayes and hardcore punk band DARE.
ZOOLUXX, 7 Come 11 @ Moroccan Lounge
Los Angeles rockers ZOOLUXX and 7 Come 11 will have a duel release gig inside The Moroccan Lounge. ZOOLUXX will be celebrating the release of their Just a Little Bit EP, which will be released on Blind Owl Records. 7 Come 11 will show off their new release on Tallest Man Records. Opening the show is rapper Speed Watson.

As the world's first and only heavy metal mariachi band, Metalachi have seen their popularity skyrocket thanks to America’s Got Talent and praise from Avenged Sevenfold’s M. Shadows and Slayer’s Dave Lombardo. The band will take over Whisky A Go-Go to perform some of your favorite classic metal tunes. Their last studio album was 2018’s Tres, which includes covers of Anthrax’s “Caught in a Mosh” and Guns N Roses’ “Welcome to the Jungle.” Gutter Candy and Satanic Johnny will open.

Pearl Earl, Egg Drop Soup @ The Echo
Since the release of their Karaoke Superstar EP, Texas psychedelic rock quartet Pearl Earl have found themselves performing at festivals such as SXSW, Norman Music Festival, and Homegrown Fest. The band return to Los Angeles to perform some of their favorite songs, including last year’s “Something's Gotta Change.” Joining them as support are punk trio Egg Drop Soup, who released their PMS EP back in September, and Keen, who dropped their new album Creation earlier this month.
Tashaki Miyaki, Johnny Payne @ Bootleg Theater
Los Angeles noise pop group Tashaki Miyaki will perform some new tunes inside The Bootleg Theater. After a slew of EPs, the band signed with Philadelphia record label Metropolis Records for their 2017 debut album The Dream. Canadian singer Johnny Payne, who will release their King of Cups album this spring, and Joel Jerome, who unveiled some tunes through Dangerbird Records last year, will open.

English hardcore band Higher Power arrive to The Echo on their first U.S. headlining tour. On January 24, the band will unveil their sophomore studio album 27 Miles Underwater, which arrives on Roadrunner Records. Joining them as support are Take Offense, Drain, and Life’s Question will open.
Saturday, January 25
Freq. Fest: Homecoming @ The Smell
Chiptune fans will have their fill inside The Smell for Freq. Fest: Homecoming. The two day music festival, which takes places on Saturday, January 25 and Sunday, January 26, will feature performances from acts such as Ivy Hollivana, Unicorn Dream Attack, and Neon Death Cat.
Los Angeles art rock group Wam Dingis will celebrate the release of their new music video “Heaven First” at the Moroccan Lounge. The visual was directed by Aaron Kessinger. “Heaven First” stems from their latest studio album It's Not That Hard. Joining Wam Dingis for the celebration are Indigo Skyship and Fime.
Darling Dead, Androgen Rx @ The Stardust Club
Klub Terminal delivers a Saturday night gig with industrial metal outfits Darling Dead and Androgen Rx. Darling Dead will unveil their new studio album Hollywood's Most Hated sometime this year. Androgen Rx, who had their first show back in November, features Angel Nightmare of Midnight Nightmare. This show will have free entry before 10 p.m.

Cursive, Cloud Nothings @ Teragram Ballroom
Cursive arrive to the Teragram Ballroom in support of their new studio album Get Fixed. The album was intentionally supposed to be a double album alongside their 2018 album Vitriola. Cloud Nothings, who are supporting their 2018 album Last Building Burning, and Criteria, who released their new album Years last week, will also perform.
