Released today, “Constant Hum” is the perfect closer for the release. Throughout 10 minutes, the track goes into a whirlwind of emotions. This is the second single from the album; “Worship House” was released last month.
Vinyl pre-orders for As Lost Through Collision, which gets released on September 4, can be made on The Flenser’s webstore. Digital pre-orders can be made on Sprain’s Bandcamp page. The album was engineered by Josiah Mazzaschi at The Cave (Built to Spill, The Jesus and Mary Chain) and mixed by Tim Green at Louder Studios (The Melvins, Lungfish, Jawbreaker).
Los Angeles outfit Sprain have announced their debut studio album As Lost Through Collision.
Revealed today, the album will be released on September 4 through The Flenser. The first single from the record titled “Worship House” can be heard below. “This record was a conscious effort to move beyond the initial style we experimented with on our last EP into something more unique — something more ‘us,’” the band said in a joint statement. The five-song release was engineered by Josiah Mazzaschi at The Cave (Built to Spill, The Jesus and Mary Chain) and mixed by Tim Green at Louder Studios (The Melvins, Lungfish, Jawbreaker).
