Friday, October 28
Danny Elfman, Boy Harsher

Beloved composer Danny Elfman returns to Hollywood Bowl for a two-night stint alongside special guest Boy Harsher. This event will feature music from Elfman's acclaimed line of work from Oingo Boingo to their film scores. Danny Elfman and Boy Harsher will perform at Hollywood Bowl again on Saturday, October 29. Yoi Toki: A Futurefunk Halloween Party

Yoi Toki will deliver A Futurefunk Halloween Party, which dives into the vaporwave subgenre of futurefunk. Throughout the evening, attendees will be greeted to DJ sets from Valentine, Jak Syn, and Groovy Kaiju (live). The first 50 people to arrive will get in for free. Aeon Station, Near Beer

New Jersey alternative rock act Aeon Station, which features former Wrens member Kevin Whelan, will be in Los Angeles in support of their debut album Observatory, which is out on Sub Pop Records. Joining Aeon Station as support will be Los Angeles indie rock band Near Beer, who will be plugging their new self-titled album out on Double Helix Records.
Saturday, October 29
Haunted Hill featuring Cypress Hill, Everlast, Fishbone, and N8NOFACE
6 p.m. at Hollywood Palladium (6215 Sunset Blvd) (tickets)
Beloved hip hop act Cypress Hill will bring their Haunted Hill concert to Hollywood Palladium. In March, the Hollywood Walk of Fame group released their 10th studio album Back in Black. Joining the act for this special show are Grammy-winning alternative rock/hip hop artist Everlast, iconic ska punk band Fishbone, and rising electronic artist N8NOFACE.
Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony
8 p.m. at The Novo (800 W Olympic Blvd) (tickets)
Iconic hip hop group Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony will headline The Novo for a special performance. The act's last studio album was 2017's New Waves, which features appearances from Korn's Jonathan Davis, Stephen Marley, and Yelawolf.

Sipping Sundays Anime Cosplay Party

Los Angeles convention Ronin-Expo will join forces with Sip Little Tokyo for a five-hour anime cosplay party filled with DJs and fantastic drinks. Dance the afternoon away while sipping on some alcoholic boba and Asian fusion tapas.
Plastic Hijack! Halloween Edition

Weeks after the death of co-founder Greg Hignight, Tune In Tokyo will carry on and honor Hignight’s legacy with the Plastic Hijack! Halloween Edition event, which is a collaboration with Anisong Hijack. In the back room, DJ Tommy, DJ Curry, DJ Showapop, DJ Dave Tada, and DJ Marcus Chavez will deliver some of best in 70s and 80s citypop. The front room will have DJs Beari, Kairos, Syntho & Falafel, Bakkun, and D-tor spinning the best in 2000s J-pop and anisong. Singer Stephanie Yanez will hold a special performance in each room. The event will be free before 11 p.m.; after 11 p.m., there will be a $5 door charge.

George Clanton, Neggy Gemmy, death's dynamic shroud, and ESPIRIT

Vaporwave artist George Clanton will take over the Lodge Room for two performances on Halloween. Fellow vaporwave acts (and 100% Electronica artists) Neggy Gemmy, death's dynamic shroud, and Clanton's side project ESPIRIT will be on hand for both 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. shows.
Hawthorne Heights, Armor for Sleep, and Action/Adventure
7 p.m. at Regent Theater (448 S Main St) (tickets)
Beloved emo acts Hawthorne Heights and Armor For Sleep will join forces for a co-headlining gig inside The Wiltern. Hawthorne Heights will be promoting their latest studio album The Rain Just Follows Me, which is out on Pure Noise Records. Armor For Sleep will be supporting their first studio album in 15 years with The Rain Museum, which was released last month on Equal Vision. Action/Adventure, who’ll unveil their new album Imposter Syndrome on November 11, will open the show.

Bonavega will close out their monthly Monday night residency at The Echo with a special Halloween show.
