On Saturday, fans of platinum-selling rock band My Chemical Romance congregated at one of the most memorable spots in the band's career.

Ghouls Day Out, which was run by SoCal event coordinator SpooksieBoo Events, took place at Los Angeles’ Immanuel Presbyterian, which is where My Chemical Romance shot their music video for "Helena." Inside the church, a bevy of photo ops were present. As expected, many fans were on line looking to grab a photo in front of the casket.

A few steps away from the church, attendees were greeted by a huge array of vendors selling some goodies. Live music was also on tap with sets from Green Day tribute band Green Today, pop punk/emo cover band Too Bad So Sad, and My Chemical Romance tribute band Sweet Revenge. Our photos from the event can be seen below. Follow SpooksieBoo Events on Instagram for updates on future events.

Last year, My Chemical Romance unveiled the track "The Foundations of Decay," which was their first new song since 2014, and embarked on a reunion tour across Europe and North America along with festival appearances at Aftershock Festival and When We Were Young Festival. Back in March, the band continued their trek with a handful of shows in Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.

Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker. Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
