Read MoreTwo of England’s most influential bands - Pet Shop Boys and New Order - will head to North America for a co-headlining tour this fall.
Revealed today, the Unity Tour kicks off on September 5 inside Toronto’s Budweiser Stage, and it’ll feature stops in cities such as Philadelphia, New York City, and Minneapolis before concluding inside Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl on October 2.
The full tour routing can be seen below. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday (February 28) at 10 a.m. local time.
New Order’s last studio album was 2015’s Music Complete, which peaked at number seven on the Alternative Albums chart and number eight on the Top Rock Albums chart. Pet Shop Boys will be promoting their new studio album Hotspot, which topped the Dance/Electronic Albums chart.

Cruel World Fest is looking to make new wave and post-punk fans happy this spring.
Announced today, the festival will include heavy hitters in the scene such as Bauhaus, Blondie, and Devo. Modern acts such as Sextile, Drab Majesty, and Blaqk Audio will also perform. You can check out the full lineup below.
Cruel World Fest takes place on May 2 at The Grounds at Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles. Pre-sale tickets will go on sale this Thursday (February 13) at noon PST. Registering for pre-sale tickets gives you a chance to win two VIP passes. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday (February 14) at noon PST. Last week, The BIrthday Massacre released information on their forthcoming studio album Diamonds. Today, they’re giving fans the first taste of the record with the song “The Sky Will Turn,” which you can hear below.
Pre-orders for Diamonds are live here. The nine-track album will arrive worldwide on March 27.

Canadian synthrock band The Birthday Massacre have finally unveiled the release date for their forthcoming album Diamonds.
Announced today, the record will see a March 27 release via Metropolis Records. This will be the follow up to their 2017 studio album Under Your Spell, which peaked at number seven on the Independent Albums chart and number two on the Heatseekers Albums chart. The first single from the album will be released soon.
This spring, The Birthday Massacre will embark on a tour with Julien-K, which includes a performance at New Jersey’s Dark Side of the Con. Tour dates can be seen below. Meet and greet packages are available here.
