My Time at Sandrock delayed to November
Fans of My Time at Sandrock will have to wait a bit longer for its release.
Announced today, the game will now have its full launch on November 2 on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The title was originally slated for a September 26 release.
A joint statement from Pathea, DMM Games, and Focus Entertainment reads:
Today we would like to address a release delay for My Time at Sandrock. Our team has been hard at work making sure the game is the best it can be upon release, but after much deliberation, we feel that a delay is necessary to better ensure the game quality will meet your standards and expectations. We know players have been looking forward to this title, so we sincerely apologize for extending its development. November 2nd is our updated release date for physical and digital versions of the game.
We would also like to take this time to thank you for your continued support. Your continued enthusiasm and fan contributions are greatly appreciated and keep us focused and motivated as we come closer to launch. We wouldn't be where we are without your help and support. With all our hearts, we look forward to welcoming you to Sandrock on November 2nd!
My Time at Sandrock is the sequel to My Time at Portia, which sold over two million copies worldwide. The game has been in early access on Steam since last year.
A synopsis for My Time at Sandrock reads:
Take the role of a fledgling Builder to Sandrock. It's up to you and your trusty tool-set to gather resources, construct machines, and fix up your workshop into a well-oiled production machine, and save the town from the jaws of economics ruin, as well as a few other unexpected complications.
