EarthBound is finally on the Nintendo Switch

Since the release of Nintendo Switch Online, fans have clamored for EarthBound’s inclusion. Today, they got their wish.
At the Nintendo Direct, it was revealed that EarthBound would be arriving to the online subscription service today. Released in 1994 in Japan and 1995 in North America, EarthBound quickly gained a cult following worldwide. With Ness being featured in Super Smash Bros, interest in the title peaked to an all-time high.
If that’s not enough, EarthBound: Beginnings will also arrive on Nintendo Switch Online. The first title in the EarthBound/Mother series was released in 1989 in Japan. The title eventually made its way worldwide on the Wii U in 2015.
Both titles will be available on the Nintendo Switch today. While fans dive deep into both titles, you can expect them to want Mother 3 to jump on the service next.
