Singer-songwriter Annie Blackman has announced their debut album today.
Titled All of It, the 10-track record will be released on April 8 via Father/Daughter Records. The release includes previously released singles from their Father/Daughter Records single series, which began last April. A new song titled “Power” can be heard below. Blackman said this about the song:
"I wrote Power my freshman year of college in a moment of real insecurity. I was willing to give up all of my power to this person in order to hold onto them. This is the oldest track on the album, and it really does feel like there’s a lot of distance between me now and the me who wrote it. There’s a sense of flailing to this song that makes me cringe a little, but also pushes me to find a little empathy for 18 year old Annie."
Pre-orders for All of It can be made here. “Power” is available on digital services right now.
Blackman will have two performances in March; on March 4, they’ll perform inside NYC’s Mercury Lounge, and on March 18, they’ll be part of the Father/Daughter & Bayonet Showcase at SXSW.
