Los Angeles always has a plethora of events going down at every corner. Whether it’s a convention or some local stand-up comedy, there’s always something to do if you’re looking to leave the house. We look at some of the best events going down in Los Angeles this week (October 20 through October 26).

Tuesday, October 21

Werewolf Mafia @ UCB Theater (5919 Franklin Avenue)
Doors: 8:15 p.m. (tickets)

Some of the finest comedic folk from Los Angeles will join forces in a wild game of Werewolf (a.k.a. Mafia). Hosted by Stephen Sanow, Tuesday's festivities will feature Anna Salinas, Austin Williams, Greg Wallace, Jesse Esparza, Julian Stern, Lauren Knutti, Matt Apodaca, Mike Christian, Miki Ann Maddox, Nina Concepción, Rob Scerbo, and Vidhya Iyer. The lineup is subject to change.

Wednesday, October 22

Filipino AF: FAHM Edition! @ UCB Theater (5919 Franklin Avenue)
Doors: 6:45 p.m. (tickets)

Filipino AF will celebrate Filipino American History Month with a massive show on Wednesday. The show will feature guest monologist Manny Streetz, sketch comedy by Allyn Pintal & DarylJim Diaz, stand-up comedy from Ali Lu, magic from DreMagix, and improv by Sini-Gang (Amalia Aquino, DarylJim Diaz, Jenae Galang, Cassie Grilley, Kay Kaanapu, PJ McCormick, Allyn Pintal, and Joy Regullano). Thursday, October 23

Halloween Hoedown @ Sassafras Saloon (1233 Vine St)
Doors: 7 p.m. (free tickets) 21+

Hollywood's Sassafras Saloon will be the home of the Halloween Hoedown, which will feature live music, tarot readings, tattoos, and a costume contest. Performing live at the event are Marilaine and Starbr33d with more acts to be announced soon. The 21+ event is free to the public.

Friday, October 24

DSA-LA Halloween Spooktacular @ Zebulon (2478 Fletcher Dr.)
Doors: 7 p.m. (tickets)

DSA-LA will throw on a fundraiser this Friday with its Halloween Spookacular. Among the scheduled guests for this event are Reggie Watts, TNA's Ryan Nemeth, Whitmer Thomas, and Love Bailey.

Saturday, October 25

Haunted Little Tokyo: Block Party @ location TBA
Doors: 6 p.m. (RSVP) 21+

Haunted Little Tokyo is delivering another exciting block party at a secret location in Little Tokyo. RSVPs for the event will close this Thursday (October 23) at 11:59pm PST. Group and individual cosplay contest will also take place during the party. More information about the cosplay contests can be found here.

6th Annual W.ØM. Covers Night @ Zebulon (2478 Fletcher Dr.)
Doors: 7 p.m. (free tickets) 21+

The 6th Annual W.ØM. Covers Night and Costume Contest will take over Zebulon with cover sets from RIP Sabbath (ft. members of Wand, Meatbodies, Pangea and Tube Alloys) and Glenn: A Tribute to Danzig (ft. members of Blackwater Holylight, Emily Rose & the Rounders, Shannon Lay). DJ Shannon Cornett will be spinning tracks throughout the event. 100% of funds from the event will go towards Border Kindness.

Comedy Smash @ The Clubhouse (1607 N Vermont Ave.)
Doors: 9:15 p.m. (free show)

Comedy Smash combines stand-up comedy with improv for a hilarious time at The Clubhouse. Following a comedian’s set, an improv team with deliver a performance based on what they heard. The comedians slated to appear are Demetri aka Mitch, Anna Mae Gordon, and Paul Decuir. The improv teams set to appear are Community Bathtub, Bjork Tribute Band, and Homegirls in OuterSpace. The lineup is subject to change.

Sunday, October 26

The Witcher in Concert @ The Wiltern (3790 Wilshire Blvd)
Doors: 7 p.m. (tickets)

The Witcher in Concert will conclude its fall North American trek at The Wiltern on Sunday. A professional orchestra along with folk metal band Percival will perform the soundtrack for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in celebration of its 10th anniversary.

Comedian Clash @ Elysian Theater (1944 Riverside Dr.)
Doors: 6 p.m. (tickets)

Hosted by Jacquis Neal, Comedian Clash returns to The Elysian Theater for a game show featuring some recognizable names in comedy. A limited number of tickets are left for Sunday's installment. Livestream tickets are also available.

Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
