Read MoreAs promised, the first new single from Wardruna’s forthcoming album Kvitravn is out today. The track is titled “Grá,” and its accompanying music video, which you can see below, was directed by Tuukka Koski. “Grá (Grey) is our song to the wolf. It speaks about the ancient bond and relationship between man and wolf. It seeks to address and acknowledge the cost and responsibility of being part of, and not above, nature,” founder Einar Selvik said in a statement.
Physical pre-orders for Kvitravn can be made here while digital pre-orders can be found here. Kvitravn will be released on June 5 via By Norse Music & Sony Music. Starting in September, Wardruna will embark on a North American tour in support of the album. You can check out their upcoming tour dates below.

Nordic folk band Wardruna embark on a North American tour in support of their forthcoming album Kvitravn.
Announced today, the tour will feature stops in cities such as Brooklyn, Toronto, Salt Lake City, and Los Angeles. Tickets for these shows go on sale to the general public this Friday (February 14) at 10 a.m. local time. This will be the outfit’s first time in the region since their 2018 performance at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre. You can check out where they’re headed this fall below.
Pre-orders for Kvitravn, which is the follow up to their 2018 release Skald, can be made here. The first song from the forthcoming album will be unveiled on February 21. Kvitravn will arrive on June 5 via Norse Music.
