My Chemical Romance to reunite at Los Angeles' Shrine Expo Hall on December 20

My Chemical Romance will reunite inside Los Angeles’ Shrine Expo Hall on December 20. The band made the announcement today following some insane teasing on Instagram.

Tickets for this performance will go on sale tomorrow (November 1) at noon PST.

This is the band’s first performance since 2012. Since then, the members have been keeping active with their own projects. Gerard Way has been releasing music in between his comic book projects. In 2016, Ray Toro released his solo debut album Remember the Laughter. Mikey Way has been releasing music with Sleep Station vocalist David Debiak as Electric Century. Frank Iero has been releasing a slew of solo albums, including this year’s Barriers. James Dewees has been releasing music with The Get Up Kids and Reggie and the Full Effect.

Frank Iero and the Future Violents release music video for "Great Party"

Frank Iero and the Future Violents have unveiled the music video for their track “Great Party” today. The visual finds the band performing at a not-so-great party inside a VFW hall. Cult Records signees Surfbort make an appearance in the video, which was directed by David Brodsky and Frank Iero.

Frank Iero and the Future Violents are currently on the road supporting their new studio album Barriers. This week, the band will have festival appearances at Great South Bay Music Festival and Warped Tour. Their headlining tour picks up next week, and it’ll conclude with a performance inside The Troubadour in Los Angeles on August 10.
