Last night, the 2020 Eisner Awards took place, but it wasn’t in the traditional way. Because of the coronavirus, the ceremony was done over Zoom chat for the world to see. While this seemed odd for many, being able to present these awards was the most important thing.

At the ceremony, graphic novel Laura Dean Is Breaking Up with Me and comic book series Invisible Kingdom were the biggest winners with three awards each. Dark Horse earned the most wins for a publisher this year with five wins, including a shared win for Best Coloring (Dave Stewart).
