Read MoreWith Christmas coming soon, dark electronic duo Valhall have unveiled a new tune for the season. Today, they dropped “Restye (Save Us All),” which is a cover of “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.” You can check out their new release below.
Earlier this year, Valhall unveiled Grim/More, which is a remix version of their 2018 album Grimore. The release include remixes from artists such as The Rain Within, Wychdoktor, and Glass Apple.
Expect to hear more from Valhall in the new year.
Boston alternative rock band Letters To Cleo will unveil their new holiday EP Ok Christmas on November 15.
Announced today, the four song EP features covers of The Kinks’ “Father Christmas,” Elvis’ “If I Get Home On Christmas Day,” and The Dogmatics’ “X Mas Time ( Sure Don’t Feel Like It).” The release will also include a new song from the band titled “Miss You This Christmas.”

Letters To Cleo will be performing shows in Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and Pawtucket before their annual homecoming shows in Boston. Speedy Ortiz will join them on select shows. Check out their tour routing below. Tickets are on sale to the general public.

Over 20 years, folk singer Josh Rouse has been releasing a slew of remarkable music. Now, the musician is ready to embark on some unknown territory: the holiday album.
Announced today, Rouse will release his first ever holiday album The Holiday Sounds of Josh Rouse on November 1 via Yep Roc Records. The nine track release, which was co-produced by Rouse and Brad Jones, was written over the last decade. The artist unveiled the music video for the album’s opening track “Mediterranean X-Mas,” which you can watch below.
Pre-orders for the release are live on Yep Roc Records’ webstore. Physical pre-orders of the album will include a bonus CD of Rouse performing Christmas classics “All I Want For Christmas,” “Up On The Housetop,” and “Let It Snow” as well as three demos from his holiday album. Fans can also purchase a holiday ornament, which is only available through the pre-order.
