Beloved animation studio Klasky Csupo have officially announced their new webseries RoboSplaat.

Followers of Klasky Csupo’s Instagram page have already seen various webisodes. Starting tomorrow, new episodes of RoboSplaat will appear on Klasky Csupo’s YouTube channel and RoboSplaat’s official Instagram page every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 a.m. PST. In a press statement, Arlene Klasky said:

“The feedback on Instagram from animation fans that grew up on Klasky Csupo shows has been enormous. They seem to be uplifted by Robosplaat’s offbeat personality, humor and nostalgia for their childhood. While Gabor and I were producing our series, we never dreamed the lasting impact our shows would have on those kids.”

Voicing the titular character is Greg Cipes, who is best known as Beast Boy in Teen Titans and Michelangelo in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In a press statement, Cipes said:

“It’s so important, now more than ever, that we use our voices to promote uplifting messages of positivity, understanding, and friendship. This is what Klasky-Csupo has always stood for, and I am both humbled and inspired to champion that cause through the mouth of the iconic RoboSplaat.”

Aside from voicing RoboSplaat, Cipes hosts Talk Cereal on the RoboSplaat Instagram page. This weekly show, which arrives every Monday at 11 a.m. PST, finds Cipes talking with various voice actors.

A new app based on RoboSplaat titled Splaativerse will be unveiled in the near future. The app allows users to become immersed in RoboSplaat’s world through a slew of stories.

New episodes of RoboSplaat will continue until early 2021.
