System of a Down will launch their limited-time exhibition celebrating the 25th anniversary of Toxicity today.
Last night, we got an early look at the exhibition at an invite-only preview event. Taking over Beyond The Streets, the exhibition showcased a slew of memorabilia from the Toxicity era. Plenty of photo ops are present, including one placing you in the Toxicity album cover.
A plethora of special merch was available to purchase before the official launch. One item that sold out instantly was the “Chop Suey” chopsticks. Attendees can also walk away with a limited-edition shirt and/or hoodie. One standout shirt celebrates the infamous cancelled Toxicity album release party in Hollywood.
Our photos of the Toxicity 25th anniversary exhibition can be seen below. The week-long exhibition will take place starting today (October 13) through Sunday, October 18 at Beyond The Streets (434 N La Brea Street). The exhibition will be free to the general public, and it’ll run from 12 p.m. - 8 p.m. from Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. More information about Beyond The Streets can be found here.
Next week, System of a Down will perform at Sick New World Texas. Early next year, the band will perform in Brazil, Australia, and New Zealand alongside Faith No More. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now here.
