SEGA announces Anime Expo 2026 activities

SEGA has delivered a slew of things they’re delivering to next month’s Anime Expo.
Located at South Hall Booth #1300, the SEGA booth will bring a handful of exciting experiences for attendees. To commemorate Sonic’s 35th anniversary, attendees will be able to take a photo with the iconic video game character. Attendees will also be able to experience the worlds of Persona 4 Revival and Persona5: The Phantom X, play a Nintendo Switch 2 demo for Metaphor: ReFantazio, and earn special giveaways.
The SEGA/ATLUS booth will also be the stage for some special live events throughout the convention. Character designer/ illustrator Shigenori Soejima will have a live drawing. On July 4 and 5, a string quartet will deliver a sample of music from the Metaphor: ReFantazio video game prior to the previously announce orchestral world tour. Attendees will also witness a DJ set from SEGA Sound Team’s Kanon Oguni, a HATSUNE MIKU: COLORFUL STAGE! event featuring the game’s voice actors, and a slew of Persona cosplayers.
SEGA will have a handful of panels at Anime Expo, including a Persona 4 Revival panel featuring ATLUS developers Kazuhisa Wada, Shigenori Soejima, Atsushi Nomura, and Yoshiyuki Asai. ATLUS has also teamed up with Thirsty Waters Premium Tea House to bring a real-life Junes experience located at the Peacock Place at L.A. Live near the Beer Garden. Aside from drinks, attendees will be able to purchase exclusive merch. More information about SEGA’s Anime Expo activities can be found here.
SEGA will also bring some exclusive merch at Little Akihabara at the Little Tokyo Mall. Starting tomorrow (June 19), attendees will be able to grab merch that won’t be seen at Anime Expo. The pop-up shop will close on July 19. More information about Little Akihabara can be seen here.
Anime Expo will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 2 through July 5. Badges are on sale to the general public right now here. Our coverage of last year’s Anime Expo can be seen here.
