Roguelike adventure Beyond the Long Night heads to Kickstarter, free demo available now

Roguelike adventure Beyond the Long Night, which is developed by Noisy Head Games, will make its way to Kickstarter.

Announced today, the game takes players to the Dark Mountain, which is stuck in an unfortunate time loop. A demo for the title can be downloaded here.

Beyond the Long Night creator and Noisy Head Games founder Steve Hollis said this about the title:

“We’ve been playtesting the demo in our Discord server for the last week, and I’ve been truly humbled by the positive response from our community. Today’s announcement will allow more players to experience the world of Beyond the Long Night, which has been a passion project of mine for almost 2 years now. There’s a lot to discover, silly characters to meet, and a good handful of Upgrades to muck about with in this first outing to the Dark Mountain.”

The Kickstarter can be found here.

Prior to working on Beyond the Long Night, Hollis worked at Frontier Developments where they programmed and designed audio and music systems on games such as Planet Coaster, Planet Zoo, and Jurassic World: Evolution. While Hollis worked on the majority of Beyond the Long Night, sound designers Ross Stack and Pablo Canas aided them in the process.

Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker. Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
