Predictions for WrestleMania 41

WrestleMania makes its return to Las Vegas this weekend, and wrestling fans worldwide will be glued to their screens for the biggest wrestling party of the year. We make some predictions for what will go down during the PLE. WrestleMania 41 will air live on Peacock starting at 7 p.m. PST/4 p.m. EST. More information about the event can be found here.

Jey Uso walks away as World Heavyweight Champion

Everyone at Allegiant Stadium will be yeeting 'til the cows come home when Jey Uso defeats Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. Uso's rise as a singles competitor during the Bloodline storyline was surprising to witness in real-time, and many folks believed he could've taken down Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Gunther losing the championship would make it back-to-back Mania title losses for the wrestler; their 666-day reign as Intercontinental Champion ended at last year's WrestleMania.

The New Day win the World Tag Championship

Following The New Day's heel turn, the tag team didn't see much growth in terms of feuds. The lack of Xavier and Kofi shaking up the tag team division upset several WWE fans, who felt the heel turn was a waste. The build for their World Tag Championship match against The War Raiders even saw some criticism with fans not liking how the match felt thrown together at the last minute. A title win at WrestleMania will give The New Day a much-needed momentum boost.

Randy Orton's opponent is….

Randy Orton needs an opponent for WrestleMania, and while folks are guessing it'll be Nick Aldis, there's a good chance it'll be someone else. With a recent run-in with Solo Sikoa, it wouldn't be surprising to see the former Bloodline leader go one-on-one with Orton. We could see a surprising opponent with TNA World Champion Joe Hendry, who was last seen in the WWE at the Royal Rumble.

Iyo Sky retains the Women's World Championship

Unlike Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair, Iyo Sky hasn't gained their WrestleMania moment. Sky's last two WrestleMania appearances led to losses, including losing her WWE Women's Championship to Bayley last year. Being able to stand victorious against Ripley and Belair would be a big boost to Sky's momentum as champion.

John Cena wins the WWE Undisputed Champion

There's no better time to give John Cena the strap than now. Following a shocking heel turn, the future Hall of Famer has divided the fanbase just like old times. Those who were kids chanting "Let's go, Cena" are still behind the guy while their kids and/or younger family members are crying "Cena sucks." As WWE Undisputed Champion, Cena will spend the whole year defending that strap against old foes and new challengers alike.

Bianca Belair turns heel

Many people have speculated that Bianca Belair still had something to do with Naomi's attack on Jade Cargill, which is why the wrestler is surprisingly getting booed leading up to her WrestleMania match. Jade made it very clear that while she has her sights set on Naomi, she still hasn't forgotten about Belair replacing her following the assault. While Naomi and Belair had a public split in the ring, it could easily be a ruse for the WWE crowd. We expect Belair to show up during the Cargill/Naomi match and show her true colors.
