Marshmello and Halsey join forces for new single “Be Kind”

Platinum-selling producer Marshmello and Grammy-nominated singer Halsey have teamed up for their new single “Be Kind.”

Released yesterday, the track is destined to be a mainstay in playlists this summer. “As soon as we finished the song, I was instantly obsessed,” Marshmello said in a statement. “Halsey and I connected and were both on the same page with what we wanted the final outcome to be! And it turned out great.” The lyric video can be seen below.

Both artists have had a busy 2020 so far. Halsey unveiled their third studio album Manic back in January. Backed by the singles “You Should Be Sad,” “Graveyard,” and “Without Me,” the record debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart. Marshmello unveiled the singles “Crusades (feat. Svdden Death)” and “Been Thru This Before,” which is a collaboration with producer Southside and rappers Saint Jhn and Giggs. Their last studio album was 2019’s Joytime III.
