Halsey announces first live album 'Badlands (Live From Webster Hall)'

Pop singer Halsey will unveil their first live album this Friday (August 28).

Revealed yesterday, the singer will release Badlands (Live From Webster Hall). The live album was recorded during Halsey’s performance at Webster Hall last year. The release celebrates the five-year anniversary of Halsey’s debut album Badlands, which was also released on August 28.

Back in January, Halsey released their third studio album Manic, which debuted at number two on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Halsey is set to release their first book of poetry titled I Would Leave Me If I Could on November 10. Pre-orders can be made here.

Marshmello and Halsey join forces for new single “Be Kind”

Platinum-selling producer Marshmello and Grammy-nominated singer Halsey have teamed up for their new single “Be Kind.”

Released yesterday, the track is destined to be a mainstay in playlists this summer. “As soon as we finished the song, I was instantly obsessed,” Marshmello said in a statement. “Halsey and I connected and were both on the same page with what we wanted the final outcome to be! And it turned out great.” The lyric video can be seen below.

Both artists have had a busy 2020 so far. Halsey unveiled their third studio album Manic back in January. Backed by the singles “You Should Be Sad,” “Graveyard,” and “Without Me,” the record debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart. Marshmello unveiled the singles “Crusades (feat. Svdden Death)” and “Been Thru This Before,” which is a collaboration with producer Southside and rappers Saint Jhn and Giggs. Their last studio album was 2019’s Joytime III.

Billie Eilish, Halsey to perform at Firefly Music Festival 2020

Today, the organizers behind Firefly Music Festival have unveiled the lineup for their 2020 installment.

Taking over the main stage are Rage Against The Machine, Halsey, Billie Eilish, Blink-182, Khalid, and Maggie Rogers. Other noticeable acts performing include Cage The Elephant, Cash Cash, Boys Noize, and Eliza and the Delusionals.

Billie Eilish and Cage The Elephant both walked away from the 2020 Grammy Awards as winners. Eilish became the first woman to win the four big categories (Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year, and Best New Artist). Cage The Elephant won for Best Rock Album. Pre-sale tickets for Firefly Music Festival start this Friday (January 31) at 10 a.m. EST. You can sign up to grab pre-sale tickets here. Remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public next Monday (February 3) at 10 a.m. EST.

Halsey releases music video for "You Should Be Sad"

Days after announcing her summer tour, Halsey has unveiled another song from her forthcoming album Manic.

Today, the singer released the music video for her new single “You Should Be Sad.” Directed by Colin Tilley, the visual finds Halsey paying tribute to acts such as Shania Twain, Christina Aguilera, and Carrie Underwood. The song is slated to hit radio on January 14.

Halsey announces North American dates for 'Manic' world tour

With their third studio album Manic arriving next week, singer Halsey have unveiled dates for her summer North American tour.

Revealed today, the tour kicks off on June 2 inside Seattle’s White River Amphitheatre, and it will conclude with a performance inside Irvine’s FivePoint Amphitheatre on August 2. From June 2 through July 5, Halsey will be joined by CHVRCHES and Omar Apollo. From July 12 though August 1, blackbear and PVRIS will be the supporting acts.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, January 17, at 10:00 a.m. local time, but fans can get pre-sale tickets starting tomorrow (January 9) here. On Monday, January 13, Citi cardmembers will get their shot at pre-sale tickets. All tickets come with a copy of Halsey’s new album Maniac.

Maniac is the follow up to Halsey’s 2017 studio album Hopeless Fountain Kingdom. The album includes Halsey’s number-one hit “Without Me.”
