Philadelphia rock artist Adam Weiner bka Low Cut Connie has announced their new studio album.
Livin in the USA will be released on July 3 via Contender Records. To celebrate the announcement, Weiner unveiled a new version of the title track. Originally released as a solo piano version last year, the new full band version can be heard here. Pre-orders for the album can be made here.
Weiner said this about the forthcoming release:
I made this record because I am disgusted to see our country descend into
an authoritarian hell
a moral vacuum
a place where art does not lead the cultural conversation
I made this album to say f**k you to this regime
to the brutality and inhumanity of our political and tech leaders
They are a**holes with no class, taste, morality
or art in their bodies
I made this record because I refuse to let these motherf**kers steal our art and steal our joy
Music with soul communicates on a level that no algorithm or tech bro or artificial intelligence or political machinery can ever understand or contain
Rock n roll is a table flipping artform
It's time to flip the table again
Starting on March 3, Weiner will embark on a headlining tour across the East Coast with stops in Nashville, New York City, and Baltimore. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now here.
