Los Angeles indie-pop artist Skyler Cocco dropped their new single "Stranger" yesterday.
The track, which can be heard below via a visualizer directed by the artist, is the first single from Cocco’s forthcoming EP, which is slated to drop later this year. Cocco said this about the new song, which they co-wrote and co-produced with Dominic Florio:
“This is the first single from my debut EP that's coming this fall. its meaning wears its heart on its sleeve: when you break up with someone and wish you could go back to being strangers again.
I'm so proud of the music I'm making for myself and so lucky to have found joy in it after many years of not knowing who I am as an artist.”
“Stranger” is available on digital services right now.
