Fallen Sword II coming to PC and mobile phones in 2026

One long-running browser MMORPG is getting a sequel 20 years after its debut.
Revealed today, Fallen Sword II is slated for a Q3 2026 release on PC and mobile phones. The first Fallen Sword game, which was released in 2006, still has a loyal fanbase with over three million registered players. Fallen Sword II can be wishlisted on Steam right now here. Mobile phone wishlists can be made here.
Andrew Mulholland, director and co-founder of Hunted Cow Games said this about the forthcoming game:
"Fallen Sword has always been more than just a game to us - it's where Hunted Cow truly found its identity. For nearly 20 years, we've watched our community grow, form friendships, build legendary guilds, and create memories that have lasted a lifetime. With Fallen Sword II, we're not just making a sequel - we're honouring that legacy while inviting a whole new generation of heroes to discover what makes Erildath so special."
A synopsis for Fallen Sword II reads:
