Champions of the Realm debuting on Dungeons and Dragons' YouTube channel on January 5
Dungeons & Dragons is teaming up with Realsmith for a special seven-episode weekly series.
Champions of the Realm will pit a handful of popular faces in the D&D world in a tournament mixing D&D and UFC action. Matthew Lillard, Mark Meer, Noura Ibrahim, Omega Jones bka Critical Bard, Satine Phoenix, Alicia Marie, Anna Prosser, and Deborah Ann Woll will take part with GM/referee Jason Azevedo, commentators Urijah Faber and Becca Scott, and iconic announce Bruce Buffer joining the show.
Each episode will feature five rounds filled with narrative-driven combat where each person brings their Idle Champions character into the fight. Whoever takes down their opponent will make their way to the next round. If there’s a tie, Azevedo will decide the winner. These eight competitors will be raising money for charities of their choice along the way.
The series premiere will take place on Wednesday, January 5 at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST on D&D’s official YouTube channel and Realsmith’s officlal YouTube channel.
