Bowling-themed FPS BOWLOUT hits Steam in January 2025

Kick off 2025 with the release of bowling-themed FPS BOWLOUT.

The game is slated for a January 7 release on PC (via Steam). The title was co-developed by Sep Horsthuis and Quint Winter with Ultrapin Games handling the publishing. The game will find players getting into high energy bowling ball action throughout five locations in a bowling centre (bowling alley, arcade, poolhall, entrance, and the guttery depths.) A trailer for the game can be seen here.

A synopsis for BOWLOUT reads:

BOWLOUT is a singleplayer first-person-shooter game set in a pin-infested bowling centre. Use your many, many Bowling Balls to take them out and destroy their leader!

It’s an over-the-top wacky game where you’ll switch between frantically throwing bowling balls in large groups of pins, throwing precise bursts at singular pins, grabbing a pin to perform a powerful melee attack or throwing said pin through multiple targets.

BOWLOUT can be wishlisted on Steam right now here. The game will cost $1.69 during its launch week and $1.99 after.
