Experimental metal act Boris have unveiled their new single "Beyond Good and Evil" today.
The track is inspired by the tragic past of Hiroshima. An accompanying music video, which can be seen below, was directed by YUTARO from Art Love Music. The band said this about the new material:
"There is a vast magnitude in a huge mushroom cloud and in decaying ruins. We feel both the sadness and beauty of these things at the same time; that is who we are. This video was made from the perspective of a mushroom cloud. The album "W" focuses on Wata ’s vocals - and she is from HIROSHIMA.”
"Beyond Good and Evil" comes from Boris’ forthcoming studio album W, which will be released this Friday through Sacred Bones Records. Pre-orders for the release can be made here.
