AFI announce 'Sing The Sorrow' 20-year anniversary show at The Kia Forum

AFI will celebrate the 20-year anniversary of their 2003 breakthrough album Sing The Sorrow with a special Los Angeles show.

Announced today, the band will perform the album in full at The Kia Forum on March 11, which is the album’s release date back in 2003. Joining AFI for this event are influential punk band Jawbreaker, goth folk artist Chelsea Wolfe, and dreampop band Choir Boy. According to the band, this will be the first and only time they’ll ever play the record in full.

Pre-sale tickets for the event will go on sale this Wednesday (November 16) at 10 a.m. PST here. Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday (November 18) at 10 a.m. PST.

Sing The Sorrow propelled AFI to the rock charts with the charting singles "Girl's Not Grey", "The Leaving Song Pt. II" and "Silver and Cold.” Debuting at number five on the Billboard Top 10, the album would go platinum.
