The voice actors behind Attack on Titan will go down memory lane to discuss working on the show’s first three seasons. Bryce Papenbrook (Eren), Trina Nishimura (Mikasa), Josh Grelle (Armin), J Michael Tatum (Erwin), Bryn Apprill (Christa), and Mike McFarland (Jean Kirstein, ADR Director) will be on hand for this event, which will be moderated by Funimation's Josellie Rios.
Toilet-bound Hanako-kun voice actors Justin Briner (Hanako) and Ian Sinclair (Tsuchigomori) will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at recording from home. Other voice actors set to appear include Tia Ballard (Nene), Emily Neves (Aoi), Aaron Dismuke (Natsuhiko), Tyson Rinehart (Kou), and Jād Saxton (ADR Director). Iconic voice actor Megumi Ogata (Hanako and Tsukasa) will engage in a Q&A session.
Listeners voice actors Justin Briner (Echo Rec), Bryn Apprill (Mu), and Lee George (Jimi Stonefree) will join Cris George (ADR Director) and Dai Sato (co-creator, lead writer) to discuss working on the series. Jacki Jing will host the panel.
Funimation have also announced they’re teaming up with Aniplex for the Aniplex Online Fest. Taking place on July 4, the event will feature an additional slew of content, including special appearances and talk shows with the staff and cast from popular anime.
The cast of My Hero Academia will also be on hand for some gaming action thanks to Esports Stadium Arlington. The My Hero One’s Justice 2 eSports Challenge will feature Justin Briner (Deku), Clifford Chapin (Bakugo), Christopher Sabat (All Might), Patrick Seitz (Endeavor), Ricco Fajardo (Mirio) and more going head to head in My Hero One’s Justice 2. Professional wrestler and avid gamer Kenny Omega will host the event. My Hero One’s Justice 2 was released back in March on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.
Previously announced events for FunimationCon 2020 include panels for Fruits Basket, One Piece, and Fire Force.
Fans can register for FunimationCon 2020 for free here. Fans will be given a code to stream it closer to the event. FunimationCon 2020 will take place on July 3 and July 4.
Popular mobile phone game The Alchemist Code will feature some familiar faces in the following days. Mobile game publisher gumi Inc announced their forthcoming collaboration with popular series Attack on Titan.
Starting on June 6, players will have the chance to use Attack on Titan characters Eren, Levi, Mikasa, and Hange for a limited time. Players can also earn Reiner Braun for free after completing the first collaboration quest. On The Alchemist Code’s side, new characters Judith and Bud will debut during this event.
The pairing of the two worlds will be told in a special in-game collaboration story. During this game, players can earn Attack on Titan mementos “Victorious Crimson Arrow” and “I Won't Surrender to the Flames of Vengeance”. The event will last until July 3.
