Yoshiki and Josh Groban unite for new recording of "Forever Love"

Yoshiki and Josh Groban will deliver a new recording of the X Japan classic “Forever Love.”

Announced today, the new recording will be released this Friday (August 28). The song was recorded live at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, and it features Groban singing the song in both English and Japanese. A trailer can be seen below.

Yoshiki said this about the collaboration:

“Josh brought extraordinary emotion and depth to ‘Forever Love. Hearing him sing the song in perfect Japanese was deeply moving. This music has connected with people in Japan for many years, and I hope our performance carries its message of love to people around the world.”

Groban also said:

"Yoshiki is an icon and 'Forever Love' is one of his most iconic songs. It was an honor and a joy to transcend language and genre with him and bring a new life to this beautiful song."
