Beloved EBM act VNV Nation dropped some major news for fans today.

The act announced the name of their forthcoming studio album, which is currently being produced at the VNV Studio in Hamburg, Germany. Titled Electric Sun, this will be the follow-up to the act’s 2018 studio album Noire. More information about the album, which is slated to arrive early next year, will be unveiled soon.

VNV Nation also revealed a headlining trek across Europe in support of the forthcoming album with Canadian post-punk band TRAITRS, who will be plugging their latest album Horses in the Abattoir. Newly announced tour dates can be seen below. Pre-sale tickets will go live tomorrow (May 4) at 10 a.m. local time.

VNV Nation said this about their forthcoming album/tour:

“We’re very excited to announce that VNV Nation's "Electric Sun" Tour begins in February 2023. We can promise you an incredible live show of sound, light and passion. If you’ve seen VNV Nation live on tour or at a festival, you will know how full of energy and emotion the shows are. The audience and the band aim for unity, two halves building one live experience together, with everyone singing or dancing.

We will be joined on the tour by Traitrs, from Toronto, who’ve been gaining a strong following through their intense, ethereal and beat driven live shows across Europe and North America.

VNV Nation’s next studio album “Electric Sun” will be a symphony of melodies and beats, orchestrating its sound to a level that listeners to VNV Nation haven’t yet experienced.”
