Vaporwave now has a trading card game
Vaporwave is heading into the world of trading card games this summer.
Vaporwave fashion brand Vapor95 will deliver Vapordecks, which merges the aesthetics of vaporwave with turn-based card game strategies. A description for Vapordecks reads:
In VAPORDECKS: the beginning — Players can collect cards, build decks, and choose to form alliances or challenge the table in the newly discovered digital dreamscape. This game is your story; collecting the past & looking for truth in its archives as you step into aesthetic. Welcome to the beginning of a larger world.
Pre-orders for launch exclusive cards are live right now here, but they’re set to end on February 15. Fans can choose between the $19.95 Play Pack (25 Cards featuring two Ultra Rare cards and one Launch-Exclusive Card) and the $44.95 Collector’s Pack (25 Cards featuring six Ultra Rare cards, two Launch-Exclusive Cards, and a Vapordecks Holo-Hat). Items featured in pre-orders won’t be featured in the game’s official launch this summer.
