Vanishing Twin announce new album 'Ookii Gekkou' and 2022 U.S. tour
Psychedelic pop act Vanishing Twin will unveil their new album Ookii Gekkou this fall.
Announced today, the album will arrive on October 15 via Fire Records. The first single from the record titled “Big Moonlight (Ookii Gekkou)” comes with an animated visual done by video artist Daisy Dickinson. In a statement, the band said:
“We asked Daisy to take the being from the cover of our album and make it move, grow, stretch, multiply and merge with other objects. Hypnotised by the moon, the being plays in a strange landscape populated by other mysterious objects and characters.”
Pre-orders for Ookii Gekkou can be made here. This is the follow-up to the band’s 2019 studio album The Age of Immunology.
Vanishing Twin will support the album with tour across the United States next year. Newly announced tour dates can be seen below. Tickets will go on sale to the general public soon.
