Los Angeles electronic artist Pendant has signed to Saddle Creek.

The announcement, which was made today, comes with a new tune from the artist titled “Blood Rite.” The track’s visual, which can be seen below, was taken from Pendant’s recent performance at the Doomin’ Sun Fest. Pendant said this about the new track:

"I wrote Blood Rite as an attempt to reckon with my past, unveiling traumas from my childhood and connecting them to the person I see myself as today. I wanted to track the ways in which I’m bound to my past for better and for worse - the memories that haunt me make me who I am just as much as the sentimental ones. It all runs through my blood concurrently and guides me through my life."

“Blood Rite” is out on digital services right now. Pendant will unveil their sophomore studio album on Saddle Creek in 2022. This will be the follow-up to their 2019 debut album Through A Coil.
