Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 not launching in 2021, lead developers being replaced
Paradox Interactive announced the highly anticipated Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 will no longer see its 2021 release.
Today, Paradox Interactive revealed that Hardsuit Labs, who were the lead developers of the game, are no longer a part of the project. A new development team hasn’t been announced yet. Because of this, pre-orders for the game have been halted.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 was originally slated for a March 2020 release before being pushed to 2021. While Bloodlines 2 won’t be released this year, there’s still some Vampire: The Masquerade games being released in the forthcoming months. The final two chapters of Choice of Games’ trilogy series (Out for Blood and Parliament of Knives) will be released this year on mobile devices and PC. Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong is also set for a 2021 release. Last fall, it was revealed that a battle royal game made by Sharkmob is in the works.
