Tomba! 2: The Evil Swine Return Special Edition hits consoles and PC in December

Tomba! fans will be able to play Tomba! 2: The Evil Swine Return Special Edition very soon.

Revealed today, the game will be released digitally on December 15 via PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (via Steam). The definitive edition of 1999’s Tomba! 2: The Evil Swine Return will feature the ability to save anywhere, a rewind feature, the Japanese soundtrack, multiple supported languages, and a Tomba 2! museum. Special physical releases of the game from Limited Run Games have sold out. A new trailer for the release can be seen here.

A synopsis for Tomba! 2: The Evil Swine Return Special Edition reads:

The highly acclaimed sequel to one of the most celebrated platformers of all time, Tomba! 2: The Evil Swine Return sees the return of our favorite feral friend in an action-packed 3D adventure of epic proportions!

Life was a breeze for our hero Tomba, but all that changed in an instant upon the news that the Evil Pigs from the first game had returned to invade a nearby land. Things go from bad to worse upon hearing the news that his friend Tabby had disappeared! Leaping into action, Tomba sets off on an epic quest to find his friend, restore the peace, and teach those pesky pigs a lesson!
