THQ Nordic announces video game based on TMNT: The Last Ronin comic

THQ Nordic is bringing one of the most beloved comic book miniseries to the video game world.
Announced yesterday, a video game based on the TMNT: The Last Ronin miniseries is currently in development for release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. An announcement trailer can be seen below.
A synopsis for the game reads:
Who is the Last Ronin? In a future, battle-ravaged New York City, a lone surviving Turtle embarks on a seemingly hopeless mission seeking justice for the family he lost. From the minds of the creators of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and based on the best-selling comic book event by Eastman, Waltz, Bishop, Delgado, and the Escorza Brothers: the official video game adaptation of TMNT: The Last Ronin.
Debuting in 2020, TMNT: The Last Ronin became one of IDW Publishing’s best-selling miniseries. The story’s plot, which follows a Turtle’s journey to avenge the death of their family, comes from a lost 1987 storyline by TMNT co-creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. Earlier this year, a follow-up series titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin - Lost Years was released. Back in June, IDW Publishing released Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin—The Covers, which features every cover variant released for the miniseries.
TMNT: The Last Ronin is available on IDW Publishing’s webstore right now.
