Medieval fantasy strategy game Small Kingdoms gets 2024 Steam release, free Prologue coming soon

Bad Logic Studios’ medieval fantasy strategy game Small Kingdoms is slated for a 2024 release.

Announced on Thursday, Small Kingdoms will land on Steam in Q2 2024. A special free prologue of the game will be unveiled later this year. This prologue will have “most of the features and gameplay, but with a single fixed map for the campaign and a smaller number of buildings and units available.”

A synopsis for the title reads:

Small Kingdoms is a streamlined grand strategy and real-time strategy game with small procedurally generated world maps, giving both campaigns you can complete in a weekend and endless new campaigns so you can keep on conquering forever.

Players will rule over a small fantasy kingdom and conquer their rivals as they build up their cities and armies on the world map and command their troops on the battlefield.

Small Kingdoms can be wishlisted on Steam here while its forthcoming prologue can be wishlisted here.

Bad Logic Studios is best known for their work on The King's Campaign, which they co-developed with Reverie World Studios.
