Thin Ice release new single “Happiness Ain’t Meant For All"

German hardcore band Thin Ice have unveiled the title track of their forthcoming Happiness Ain’t Meant For All EP today.

Vocalist Simon Hereth said this about the new song, which can be heard here:

“‘Happiness Ain’t Meant For All’ is about hoping for something and the pain when it doesn’t work out. It’s about reaching for love, joy, or fulfillment and feeling the disappointment when it slips away — I think a feeling anyone can relate to, whether it’s about love, loss, or just wanting something more.”

Happiness Ain’t Meant For All will be released on May 8. The five-track EP will be released on vinyl through Subculture For Life Records and on cassette through DITS Records. Thin Ice have a handful of shows coming up, including a record release show on June 6 at Stattbahnhof in Schweinfurt. Tour dates can be seen below.
