Beloved pop-rock/pop-punk band The Stereo have given fans the first taste of their forthcoming album Thirteen with “Kings of No Hope” today.
The new song, which can be heard below, is the first new music from the band since 2002’s Rewind + Record. The tune is available on digital services right now. To coincide with the new song dropping, The Stereo have also unveiled the first episode of their Kings of No Hope podcast on Apple Music and Spotify.
Pre-orders for Thirteen can be made over on the band’s Kickstarter page. As of this writing, the band managed to hit two stretch goals, which means fans will get a concert film with a setlist voted by backers. The Stereo’s Kickstarter campaign will close on March 8.
Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker. Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
