The Sinking City Remastered surprise drops on consoles and PC

The previously announced remaster of The Sinking City has made a surprise launch today.

The Sinking City Remastered is out right now via PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Owners of the original game will get the remastered version for free. A new trailer showcasing the differences between the original and remastered versions can be seen here.

Sergiy Oganesyan, Publishing Director, Frogwares said this about the remaster:

”We plan to do big things with The Sinking City IP, starting with the sequel and then beyond. So, after our rather well-known struggles with the original, it feels amazing to have this positive moment be part of the game’s twisted history and for us to be the ones to fully decide it. Making it free to all our existing fans is our way of giving back to them for having supported us all this time through thick and thin.”

The Sinking City Remastered comes after the conclusion of the Kickstarter campaign for The Sinking City 2. The campaign concluded with over $600,000 earned, which is +450% above their initial target of $113,420.
