The Record Company announce new album 'Play Loud', release new single "How High"
Los Angeles rockers The Record Company will unveil their new studio album Play Loud this fall.
The 12-track album will be released on October 8 via Concord Records. The record was produced by Grammy-winning producer Dave Sardy (Oasis, Wolfmother, Modest Mouse, LCD Soundsystem). The album’s first single “How High” arrives with a music video directed by Nathan Karma Cox and produced by Cory Reeder.
The band said this about the new track:
“‘You're welcome!’ Those were the first words our producer said to us with a grin as he pushed play on the first mix of ‘How High.’ It was crackling with energy, it was exciting as hell, we were floored. ‘How High’ is big, it’s new, it’s brimming with spirit, shining out with hope, and dropping more hooks than a charter fishing vessel. It rocks, turn it up. How High do you want to fly? Play Loud.”
Pre-orders for Play Loud are available here. “How High” is on digital services right now.
The Record Company will promote the album with a trek across North America with support from JJ Wilde. Tour dates can be seen below.
