The Misfits announce U.S. summer gigs with Fear, Megadeth, The Gaslight Anthem, and AFI
Beloved New Jersey punk rock band The Misfits will have a trio of performances across the United States this summer.
Announced yesterday, the band’s first stop with go down on June 24 at Tampa’s MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre at the FL State Fairgrounds with support from Megadeth and Fear. On July 8, the band will have a home state performance at Newark’s Prudential Center with The Gaslight Anthem and Fear performing. On July 15, they’ll make their way to Phoenix’s Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre with support from AFI and Fear.
The band said this in a statement:
“The tour will give fans the rare opportunity to see the horror punk pioneers in their fiendish glory, live on stage as well as mark the first time the reunited Original Misfits have visited the states of Florida and Arizona, featuring the classic line-up of Original singer/songwriter Glenn Danzig and Original bassist Jerry Only with longtime guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein.”
