The Game Awards will be giving fans a closer look at the event thanks to popular streaming service Spotify.

Announced today, The Game Awards will have a four-episode podcast series titled Inside the Game Awards exclusively on the service. The first episode is out today, and it features IGN Entertainment editor-in-chief Tina Amini, Giant Bomb founder Jeff Gerstmann, and The Guardian video games editor Keza MacDonald joining The Games Awards creator Geoff Keighley in a discussion about the nominees.

Keighley said this about the new podcast:

“We’re happy to welcome Spotify as our exclusive audio streaming partner for The Game Awards as we celebrate video games and the incredible people behind them. We’ve always strived to bring the community together and working with Spotify will help us reach audiences around the world.”

Inside the Game Awards can be heard here. New episodes will be released weekly leading up to the ceremony.

The Game Awards will take place on December 9 inside the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Fan voting is live right now.
