The Black Dahlia Murder to hold memorial concert for late vocalist Trevor Strnad

The Black Dahlia Murder will celebrate the life of their late vocalist Trevor Strnad with a special memorial concert.

Announced yesterday, the band will perform at Saint Andrew’s Hall in Detroit, Michigan on October 28. Taking over the role of lead vocalist going forward is founding member Brian Eschbach, who will be stepping away from the rhythm guitarist role. Ryan Knight, who played lead guitar in the band from 2009 to 2016, will return to fill the guitarist position.

Joining The Black Dahlia Murder on the show are Darkest Hour and Plague Years. Tickets for the show will go on sale to the general public here tomorrow at 10 a.m. EST.

Decibel Magazine recently interviewed the band about life after Strnad. The interview can be read here.

Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker. Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
