Thursday, October 1

Frackula @ UCB Theatre (5919 Franklin Ave.)

Doors: 6:50 p.m. (tickets)

Directed by Drew Droege (Titanique, Luca Guadagnino’s Queer) and written by Kyle Kasabian (Girls5Eva, Dropout TV), Frackula is a wild reimagining of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. In the show, Frackula is an oil-sucking vampire looking to make a mess out of Los Angeles. Livestream tickets are also available.

Friday, October 2

Michael Klasek and Max Debczak present 24-Hour Improv Show @ Theatre 68 Arts Complex (5112 Lankershim Blvd)

Doors: 7 p.m. (free to the public)

Improvisers Michael Klasek and Max Debczak will have a 24-hour improv show with a slew of special guests such as Funk Shuffle, Beautiful Gowns, and Bad Baddies. The massive improv show is free to the public, so you can come and go to watch the event. Our interview with Michael and Max can be read here.

Frank Sriracha: Home is Where the Stage is @ The Elysian (1944 Riverside Dr.)

Doors: 9 p.m. (tickets)

Frank Sriracha: Home is Where the Stage is will take over The Elysian on Friday. Written by Max Charbonneau and directed by Kallie Cifra, the show features Sriracha accepting the Lifetime Achievement Award. The only thing they have to do is get through their acceptance speech. The show premiered at Hollywood Fringe back in June and was nominated for the Take The Stage Award at the event.

Saturday, October 3

The Real Ghostbusters: A 40th Anniversary Celebration @ Dynasty Typewriter (2511 Wilshire Blvd.)

Doors: 1 p.m. (tickets)

The Real Ghostbusters: A 40th Anniversary Celebration will bring together Ghostbusters fans in Los Angeles at Dynasty Typewriter. The show will feature a live script reading by members of The Real Ghostbusters cast alongside special guests. The lineup for this event includes Eric Bauza, Jonah Ray, Rob Schrab, Maurice LaMarche, Phil LaMarr, Laura Summer, Kevin Mangold, Laraine Newman, Peter MacNicol, Jessica DiCicco, Aaron LaPlante, and Brock Powell. Jim Cummings and The Flux Capacitors Band will deliver a musical performance before the reading begins. Livestream tickets are also available.

Wildly Appropriate: An All-Ages Improv Show @ UCB Theatre (5919 Franklin Ave.)

Doors: 5:15 p.m. (tickets)

If you're looking for a more family-friendly improv show, UCB Theatre is the place to be for Wildly Appropriate: An All-Ages Improv Show. Co-hosted by seven-year-old Mae Tarica Fernie as well as Deborah Tarica and Alex Fernie, the show will allow kids from the audience to hop onto the stage to do improv. The cast for Saturday's show features Corin Wells, Vic Michaelis, Dave Ferguson, Dhruv Uday Singh, and Patrick McDonald.
