Los Angeles always has a plethora of events going down at every corner. Whether it’s a convention or some improv, there’s always something to do if you’re looking to leave the house. We look at some of the best events going down in Los Angeles this week (June 1 through June 7).
Wednesday, June 3
Sophia Dashing @ Micky's WeHo (8857 Santa Monica Blvd.)
Doors: 12 a.m. 21+
Rising pop artist Sophia Dashing will have a special 12:30 a.m. performance at Micky’s to kick off WeHo Pride. Before the performance, head over to the bar to pick up something to drink! The artist recently unveiled their new single "Not Ur Angel."
Friday, June 5
Buck and Peggy's Yeehaw Happy Hour @ The Pack Theater (1615 North Vermont Ave.)
Doors: 6:50 p.m. (tickets)
Joseph Dailey and Amanda Romeo from The Pack Theater's sketch comedy team Whoops! join forces for a new, limited-run show titled Buck and Peggy's Yeehaw Happy Hour. The show, which is directed by Niv Brook, is heavily inspired by 60s and 70s country variety shows.
Dead of Night @ The Pack Theater (1615 North Vermont Ave.)
Doors: 9:50 p.m. (tickets)
Moderated and hosted by Gabe Legg, Dead of Night will bring together a slew of performers to play a dramatic game of Werewolf. The lineup for the debut show includes Ezra Parter, Gabi Marler, Jesse McIntosh, Lena Lamer, Lauren Koch, PJ Fahrenkrug, Richard Lee, and Rory Kulz.
Saturday, June 6
SoCal Gaming Expo @ Pasadena Convention Center (300 E Green St.)

SoCal Gaming Expo makes its return to Pasadena Convention Center for two days of gaming fun. Some of the confirmed guests for the convention include the voice casts of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon and the Resident Evil video game.
IGN Live @ Magic Box at The Reef (1933 S Broadway.)

IGN Live brings some of the newest video game announcements to Magic Box at The Reef this weekend. Attendees will be able to play new games, hang out with IGN staff, and win a slew of prizes. The Sober Show @ UCB Theatre (5919 Franklin Ave.)
Doors: 5:20 p.m. (tickets)
The Sober Show features a team of sober improvisers performing improv based on drinking stories from the audience. This Saturday's show features Will Hines, Jim Woods, Josh Simpson, Sydney Steinberg, Skander Halim, Caroline Cummings, and Amanda Bonar. Livestream tickets are also available.
