Los Angeles always has a plethora of events going down at every corner. Whether it’s a convention or some local stand-up comedy, there’s always something to do if you’re looking to leave the house. We look at some of the best events going down in Los Angeles this week (June 17 through June 23).
Tuesday, July 2
Man with a Mission @ Hollywood Palladium (6215 Sunset Blvd)

While Anime Expo starts on Thursday, many people will get the party started earlier thanks to J-rock band Man with a Mission. The band will be headlining Hollywood Palladium on Tuesday as part of their North American trek. The band are known for providing themes for numerous anime series such as for Log Horizon, Vinland Saga, and My Hero Academia.
Thursday, July 4
Anime Expo @ Los Angeles Convention Center (1201 S Figueroa St)
Doors: 9 a.m. (tickets)
Anime Expo is taking over the Los Angeles Convention Center for a massive celebration of all things anime. Saturday and Sunday tickets are sold out, but there's still tickets for Thursday and Friday as well as four-day passes.
Saturday, July 6
Beck with the LA Phil @ Hollywood Bowl (2301 Highland Ave.)

Grammy-winning artist Beck is joining forces with the Los Angeles Philharmonic for an unforgettable performance at Hollywood Bowl as part of their orchestral summer tour. Beck's last studio album was 2019's Hyperspace, which earned Beck their eighth Grammy win. Jessica Pratt, who unveiled their new studio album Here in the Pitch in May, will be the opening act.
Red Fang, Will Haven @ Teragram Ballroom (1234 W. 7th St.)
Doors: 6 p.m. (tickets)
Red Fang's summer headlining tour makes its way to Teragram Ballroom on Saturday. The band's last studio album was 2021's Arrows. While Spoon Benders are support for this trek, the Los Angeles show will feature Will Haven taking over the support slot. Will Haven will be promoting their 2023 studio album VII.
Tashaki Miyaki, Sam Blasucci @ Zebulon (2478 Fletcher Dr.)
Doors: 7 p.m. (tickets) 21+
If you're looking for a free show, head to Zebulon to see Los Angeles noise pop band Tashaki Miyaki and Sam Blasucci in action. Tashaki Miyaki's last studio album was 2021's Castaway. Sam Blasucci, who is best known as part of roots rock band Mapache, delivered their debut solo album Off My Stars last year.
