Los Angeles always has a plethora of events going down at every corner. Whether it’s a convention or some improv, there’s always something to do if you’re looking to leave the house. We look at some of the best events going down in Los Angeles this week (April 27 through May 3).

Friday, May 1

M.I.L.F. (Mach Improv LA Festival) @ The Clubhouse, WGIS, Pack Theater, and Impro Theatre

Doors: 6:45 p.m.

The third annual M.I.L.F. (Mach Improv LA Festival) returns to raise money for The Clubhouse with a variety of sketch, improv, clown, and character performances. Shows will take place at The Clubhouse/Treehouse, WGIS, The Pack Theater, and Impro Theatre. More information about the two-day event can be found here.

ADULT., Donzii @ The Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever (5970 Santa Monica Blvd.)

ADULT.'s headlining tour will make its way to The Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever on Friday. The electronic act are on the road supporting their new studio album Kissing Luck Goodbye, which is out on Dais Records. The band will be joined by tourmates Donzii and The Treasury.

Saturday, May 2

Miss Grit @ Scribble (5541 York Blvd.)

Doors: 8 p.m. (tickets)

Miss Grit will have a special headlining show in Los Angeles before supporting Just Mustard on tour (the trek features a stop at The Troubadour on May 16). The artist unveiled their new studio album Under My Umbrella last week on Mute. M.A. Tiesenga will be the opening act.

Your F**ked Up Relationship @ UCB Theatre (Annex) (1925 N Bronson Ave.)

Bad relationships are common, and Your F**ked Up Relationship wants to turn yours into a hilarious improv scene. The cast for Saturday's show includes Peter S. Kim, Bente Engelstofdt, Jeff Murdock, Tien Tran, Ryan Asher, Eric Lewis Baker, Rashawn Scott, Zack Colonna, and Karan Soni.

Sunday, May 3

Food Not Bombs Fundraiser Show @ Scribble (5541 York Blvd.)

Doors: 7:30 p.m. (tickets)

A handful of Los Angeles bands will get together to raise money for Skid Row DTLA Food Not Bombs. Defective Children, GUMDROP, Armistice and Cry the Monarch will take part of the fundraiser show. More information about Food Not Bombs can be found here.

Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
