Los Angeles meditative pop band Sonoda release cover of Broadcast's "Tears In The Typing Pool"

Los Angeles’ Sonoda have unveiled their cover of Broadcast’s “Tears In The Typing Pool” today.

The track stems from Broadcast’s 2005’s studio album Tender Buttons. “May this bring solace to your soul as we get through these times. Black lives still matter, and the world still has so much to improve. Hopefully one day we’ll look back in disbelief at how much has changed for the better since 2020. It’s always possible,” Sonada said in a statement. You can hear Sonoda’s take on the song below.

Last month, the outfit unveiled their cover of The Sound’s “Night Versus Day” for the tribute album Do You Feel That Way Too? If you purchase the album on Bandcamp by September 1, you’ll be entered into a raffle to win one of two Fender guitars. All proceeds will go towards non-profit organization Painted Brain.
