Announced yesterday, Black Anima: Live From The Apocalypse will take place on Friday, September 11. The band will hold the performance inside Milan’s Alcatraz Club. In a statement, the band said:
"When the world changed, we were in the early stages of touring our new album, BLACK ANIMA. Months have gone by and the desire to get back up on stage and play our music for you has just grown bigger and bigger. While the pandemic won't allow us to travel to your hometowns, it can't stop us from coming directly into your homes. Please welcome Black Anima, Live From The Apocalypse.”

Released back in October, Black Anima, which includes the singles “Save Me,” ”Reckless,” and “Layers of Time,” peaked at number four on the Hard Rock Albums chart.
Lacuna Coil have been busy touring the world in support of their new studio album Black Anima. Today, the group unveiled the live video for “Save Me,” which was recorded during their recent European trek. Isabella D'Alessandro directed the visual.
In April, Lacuna Coil will resume their touring schedule with a headlining tour across Europe. In May, the band will head back to North America supporting Apocalyptica on tour. This summer, they’ll take perform at festivals such as Download Festival, Wacken Open Air, and Metal On The Hill. Tickets for these shows are on sale right now. Less than a month before the release of Black Anima, Lacuna Coil have unveiled their new single “Reckless”.
Released today, the music video for the song continues the story from their “Layers In Time” video. “We had the band's performance at the core of the "Layers of Time" video, while in "Reckless" the ideas of freedom and being true to yourself come to life through disturbing horror images to cause a reaction in the audience and actually represent the obscure atmosphere of our new record,” vocalist Cristina Scabbia said in a press release.

Weeks after announcing their new album Black Anima, Lacuna Coil dropped the first single from the release on Friday. The single “Layers Of Time” is accompanied by a music video directed by Roberto Cinardi. This isn’t the first time Cinardi worked with the band. They’ve done videos for "Spellbound" and "End of Time.”
